Cityscapes of Singapore VII (Flying over)

A typical way to enter Central District in Singapore is via the ECP, the East Coast Parkway, a 20 km long expressway from Changi International Airport to its Western end at Benjamin Sheares Bridge. Finished 1981 and named after the 2nd President of the Republic Benjamin Shears it is with 1.8 km lenght and 20 m height the longest and tallest bridge in the citystate. This part of the fly-over spans Marina Bay shortly before diverging into the core.

In the background the Cloud Forest Dome of Gardens by the Bay.
